What exactly are quality shares?

There are over 40,000 shares of companies traded worldwide. For you, this means that if you want to invest in shares as a private investor, you are faced with a huge market and have to make your choice.

What often comes into play when making a decision is gut feeling on the one hand and the influence of the media on the other. In other words, your selection is based on news, events and their influence on the share price. However, a currently rising share price, for example, is by no means a sign that a share is worth buying. Just as, conversely, a downward trend does not mean that a share cannot also yield long-term profits.
